How long do you wait to say "I love you" or wait for it to be said to you by your sig other?I say 3 months tops someone would have a good feeling if they are in love with you or not...(this was our discussion topic at dinner, have some friends who after 1 year have not heard it or said it just know it)
9/15/2010 1:32:17 AM
I say it right from the start, but I'm weird and I say it to people I'm not in a relationship withfor normal people, I'd agree about 3-4 months sounds rightmaybe more depending on how lame the person is
9/15/2010 1:33:36 AM
and as we all know, BubbleBobble is the relationship expert!
9/15/2010 1:33:59 AM
I never say I love you ever. I say I luv you which is friendly love. Technicalities
9/15/2010 1:36:55 AM
I love telling girls online that I don't really know that I love themsome of them are actually receptive to it

9/15/2010 1:41:09 AM
I've never said it first, but that's in jeopardy with the current gf, because I think she's scared to say it first. But I know it will fly out right after [if] I say it.Every girl I've dated in the past has said it before the first month is over. I would say that should alarm me, but things usually go so well at the beginning of a relationship that I see it coming.STAGE 5 CLINGERS!!!
9/15/2010 1:42:18 AM
Peter and I didn't say it until 5 months in, but I've been fucked over a lot in my past relationships, so I was trying to hold myself back. Additionally, I wasn't sure if he was going to immediately leave me after he graduated. I'm glad we took things slow though. What is the big fucking rush anyway?
9/15/2010 1:43:09 AM
I said it by accident with my gf. Whoops.Just one of those things that happens when it happens. Fortunately I've never been in a relationship with a juvenile girl who actually thinks about this kind of thing. If you're both adults and say what you feel, then it'll be said when its supposed to be said.
9/15/2010 1:45:56 AM
^^ ya no need for a rush but why waste your time as well? what if he didn't say it and what if it took you 3 extra months to find out he wanted to leave?
9/15/2010 1:47:35 AM
Say what you mean and mean what you say.
9/15/2010 1:50:13 AM
If he wanted to leave then he would have left. He isn't the type to hang around and be miserable because of a girl. I just figured when the time was right it would be said. Turns out the right time is while in a cabin in the mountains sitting in front of the fire place drinking hot coco.

9/15/2010 1:57:17 AM
maybe but guys and girls aren't always like this some just string others along and you really don't know if you think about it. that's why people who have been married like 40 years find out the other is in an affair etc.
9/15/2010 1:58:20 AM
That's called communication. If you're wondering about it, talk about it.Seriously people, the secret to a longlasting, healthy relationship is open communication. The worst relationships I've ever had were due to a lack of this, and the best from having it.
9/15/2010 2:01:22 AM
Actions speak louder than words. I've had plenty of guys say "i love you' and then treat me like shit, so I guess I just see it as words. I now have realized that love is more about how you treat someone, rather than what you say to them.
9/15/2010 2:04:41 AM
I would never go into a marriage thinking that my lover isn't going to cheat on me at least once in the lifetime we're together. There's too much temptation and too much time to get bored and when you're old and realize that your life is definitely passed halfway over, then you start regretting never getting to do the things you wanted to do while you were young. They're called mid-life crisis. That's why I view love and sex as two separate objects. You have have sex with someone and not love them and you can love someone and not have sex with them.[Edited on September 15, 2010 at 2:06 AM. Reason : .]

sighI could use a relationshipmaybe.maybe not.I kinda failed at the ones I've had
9/15/2010 2:06:03 AM
wow thats a super shitty way to think about your trust and fidelity with a partner.I just got all my shit out of the way before and in between serious relationships. I would honestly be totally happy having sex with my girl for the rest of my life.
9/15/2010 2:07:13 AM
I don't get pleasure out of sleeping with random people. But I do feel that I will only fall in love with someone if they are worth being heartbroken over. I expect significant others to fuck up during the relationship (doesn't mean full blown affair per se) , but they have to be worth forgiving.combining sex and love is one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced and I'd gladly do it for the rest of my life with him. Having sex with the same girl ... 500 times in a row... tends to get kinda stale and pointless. It's the same thing over and over. I could easily see me not having sex with the person I love after a couple years.
9/15/2010 2:10:51 AM
after you get really comfortable with someone, sex becomes more and more fun.
9/15/2010 2:11:51 AM
why?
9/15/2010 2:12:07 AM
^^i dont know about all that
9/15/2010 2:13:31 AM
willing to try new things and push limits and be more adventurous. It's also more personal if you actually know and love the person.I mean, if you let it become boring than it will be boring. But, whatever, I don't really care about you people. I'm good and my boyfriend is good so that's all that matters to me. [Edited on September 15, 2010 at 2:15 AM. Reason : uh, its too late to be having this discusssion.]
9/15/2010 2:14:01 AM
I guess it's like being an ER doctor watching gory death videos. There's no excitement to be had because the ER doctor sees it every day on the job. It's nothing new.
9/15/2010 2:16:32 AM
i mean don't get me wrong bmel thats awesome. i just dont see how its possible
9/15/2010 2:18:01 AM

my mom worked in the ER for 20 years and she would still come home with some amazing, freaky stories.I don't see myself getting tired of multiple orgasms anytime soon. But maybe I'm wrong, who knows [Edited on September 15, 2010 at 2:24 AM. Reason : lol]

She started saying it after a few months of us dating. I didn't say it until a year after we'd been dating. We were in high school at the time and I wasn't about to drop the L-word like most teens do. We've been together ever since, so I guess it worked out.
9/15/2010 8:53:27 AM
