It's true. She makes all my neighbors fear for their lives... Too bad I only have her for another 5 months. lol.

<100 lbs or >100 lbs?[Edited on September 21, 2010 at 8:27 PM. Reason : I want that elise in your gallery. I will trade you my dog.]
9/21/2010 8:26:14 PM
<100lbs. Not really that big I suppose. German Shep, mostly black with big, pointy ears. Not a dog I would want to fuck around with if I didn't know that she's really sweet dog.
9/21/2010 8:28:25 PM
She's kinda big compared to your children.
9/21/2010 8:30:50 PM
true... 2 30lb beagles ain't got nothing on her.
9/21/2010 8:31:20 PM
why only 5 more months?!
9/21/2010 8:32:07 PM
You got 30lb beagles? WTF?!
9/21/2010 8:32:08 PM
Well sorry, one is 24lbs, and the other is 28lbs. I give them more credit than deserved I suppose. ^^ Dog sitting...
9/21/2010 8:34:00 PM
Uhm. Thirty pound Beagles are totally normal.
9/21/2010 8:34:12 PM
^^
9/21/2010 8:34:21 PM
And they probably are slightly over weight at that lol. ~10kg is a good beagle weight most of the time.
9/21/2010 8:35:13 PM
eh, 30 is slightly heavy, but nothing to be concerned about, shoot for about 25 in a full grown beagle
9/21/2010 8:36:17 PM
Beagles can be from 18-31lbs. And these aren't purebred beagles either. Mine have some hound mix in them too, and they can get up to 60lbs depending on the breed of hound. No. My beagles are absolutely fit and healthy, moreso than most beagles. The vet also thinks they are rather "heavy" for their size (especially Hiro at 28lbs, but he's got a very butch chest), but it's not because they are fat by any means. [Edited on September 21, 2010 at 8:38 PM. Reason : .]
9/21/2010 8:36:55 PM
if you have a purebred beagle weighing more than 35 lbs you need to put that fucker on a diet
9/21/2010 8:38:12 PM
^ I agree? that was random, but an honest statement. lol.
9/21/2010 8:39:26 PM
It's not so abnormal for the 15 inch standard to weigh 30 lbs, esp. the males.
9/21/2010 8:40:12 PM
I remember this guy from back home has some mixed inbred beagles that would run anything, like they would be chasing a rabbit, and make a sudden right turn and start chasing a wild dog. No lie I seen this with my own eyes.

When we found our one dog she was literally about to die in the desert and could be picked up almost with one arm (she's a mix) .She's since gained a gazillion pounds and we don't really know why because she really doesn't eat that much and when she does eat she eats diet food.... Anyway.... she recently had some eye surgery and when they got her blood work back they discovered that one of her cell counts or something was really high...so they did more testing and turns out she has 'tick fever' which apparently can sit dormant for years and in all likely hood she had it before we found her. Anyway, if it actually develops it can be deadly and my mom asks the vet what symptoms come before it develops and the vet says, 'weight loss'....my mother actually considered for one second that maybe we should wait it out.... But of course she didn't and has been on antibiotics for about 3 months now.

i like cats AND dogs and have both!my dog weighs 50lbs.when i went to the dog olympics 2 weeks ago, i saw an 11mo old great dane, 140lbs and growingi mean i've seen great danes before but this was THE biggest one ever. i guess i've usually seen female great danes and males can push 200lbs they don't mature until 2 or 3 though so this dog i saw is going to be INSANE.

My pure bred lab weighed ~130 lbs when he was in top health.. He was the biggest pure bred lab I have ever seen. Just because a dog is supposed to weigh something doesn't mean there's not exceptions..

But in all honesty, if I were to get a dog, i would get a cockapoo, or a mini poodle, because they are small, and don't essentially don't shed hair. This is the ONLY downside to cats for me and I hate it.
