I probably get half a dozen or so uses. Depends on how thoroughly I dry out the butt crack I guess
10/30/2010 11:21:04 AM
haha apparently if that is the standard, I use it waaay too much... I have a 2 towel rotation, and I wash them about once every 4 weeks
10/30/2010 11:22:19 AM
you're supposed to use more than one towel?
10/30/2010 11:23:01 AM
2 weeks or sogenerally until I notice its not fresh feeling/smelling, which is about 2 weeks
10/30/2010 11:24:09 AM
about a week
10/30/2010 11:29:09 AM
yall niggas is gross. about 3 times, maybe only 2
10/30/2010 11:29:48 AM
1 towel. 1 week. 1 wash/week.
10/30/2010 11:32:57 AM
New towel twice a week, wash the sheets every week. Anything less is gross. 4 weeks with the same towel - Jesus what is wrong with you?
10/30/2010 11:34:04 AM
i have separate face towels, body towels, ass towels, and dick towels
10/30/2010 11:34:15 AM
^^I guess math is failing you... 4 weeks w/ 2 towels = 2 weeks per towel (and I don't always shower at home, so it isn't a full 2 weeks use per towel either)meh[Edited on October 30, 2010 at 11:35 AM. Reason : is not if]

10/30/2010 11:54:05 AM
I mean aren't you getting clean in the shower? why the hell would you only use a towel twice. I use mine for about a week. Or however long it takes me to need to do a load of darks. so sometimes 6 or 5 days.
10/30/2010 11:57:09 AM
since you aren't drying off any legs, your usage only counts half, anyway...so you're fine, saps.

I wash my towels and bedsheets once a week.
10/30/2010 12:18:05 PM
two words - dead skin.
10/30/2010 12:19:57 PM
There's no method to my madness. A week, two weeks, a month. Who knows?
10/30/2010 12:37:07 PM
I used to get a week out of my towels. Now with the new place which has a slightly less useful washer and dryer the towels don't get as clean so only a few days.Hoping to replace the old units in the next year or so.
10/30/2010 12:55:30 PM
Between 3 days and a week. Depends on when I happen to notice "man I've been using this thing a few days", when I happen to do laundry, and if it starts to smell a bit less than fresh.Growing up I lived in a household where towels got washed after one use. The parents still do so, though one part of it now is that they insist that the rather nice tile shower surround that got replaced a few years ago be wiped down to dry it off after every shower, so it gets used for that at least.
10/30/2010 12:59:58 PM
me, i change out towels once per week.a friend of mine, however, uses a fresh towel after every shower. he showers twice a day. it's ridic
10/30/2010 1:22:34 PM
i throw the shit away after one use.
10/30/2010 1:26:15 PM
Same for my clothes, until its visibly dirty or smells bad (though for clothes its until it doesn't smell fresh or doesn't smell like anything at all). Washing things more than that is wasteful.I'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message.
10/30/2010 1:35:14 PM
usually a few showers when I decide, "yuck I don't want to use that towel". and get a new one.I own 20-30 nice towels so Its alright (don't use them all, maybe 15 in rotation). can't imagine owning less than five. but then I hate that laundry.
10/30/2010 1:41:09 PM
you guys do realize that the stank all up in dirty towels comes from your filth and not the towel, right?
10/30/2010 1:43:55 PM
New towel about every 5 days or so.
10/30/2010 1:44:55 PM

i wash them after 2-3 uses. my mom is one of those 1 use, one wash with BLEACH types. I like colored towels, personally. but I will use vinegar or ammonia if one got balled up too long. plenty of the stink comes from bacteria, yeast and mildew. you can get athletes foot, jock itch or similar from having the organism build up in your towel, especially if you use public shower areas or have a lot of roommates/family member. I got it in my armpit once in the dorm, it was awful
10/30/2010 2:57:18 PM
4-6+ usually
10/30/2010 3:00:25 PM
2-3 times. The water starts growing bacteria and what not. Thats why they can't use towels to dry off dishes in restaurants. Once they get wet, bacteria can grow.Of course this is what some random person told me once so I don't know if it's legit, but it's good enough for me
10/30/2010 3:41:45 PM
usually about a weeki, too, perform the sniff test

I'm pretty sure I just read somebody say they wash their towel once ever 4 weeks. That makes me laugh....and remember being 19 again.
10/30/2010 4:16:08 PM
Once a week. I hang mine flat in a well ventilated area (and let the sun hit it daily in the morning/afternoon) after every use so it dries up quickly and doesn't accumulate smells.
10/30/2010 5:35:23 PM
10/30/2010 7:27:21 PM
I only use a towel for about 3-4 showers, but I only shower once a month
10/30/2010 7:35:44 PM
Until fiance washes it. I've used some for months at a time when single
10/30/2010 7:53:12 PM
Probably about 1 to 2 weeks. If it hits the floor though at any time it goes straight to the hamper.
10/30/2010 9:15:59 PM
^ no 5 second rule?I'd like to say every 3-4 weeks, but especially when I travel for work, it can be 3-4 'home' weeks which turns into 2 months
