Nearly all Nyquil medicines have acetaminophen.Acetaminophen + alcohol can = acute liver failure. You should try to keep your liver. If you drink, you need to stop buying Tylenol, Nyquil, and other pain/cold meds that have acetaminophen right now. They can actually fuck you up if you take them a day after you drink (google "alcohol acetaminophen syndrome" if you don't believe me)If you need to take anything it should probably be Ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin) or Naproxen (Aleve). These two + alcohol are tough as hell on your GI tract and may cause stomach bleeding/ulcers over time, but generally safe unless you're a chronic user. Far less likely to straight up kill you than mixing acetaminophen and alcohol at least.Sorry to kill your buzz.[Edited on November 1, 2010 at 12:12 AM. Reason : l]

He's right. Get the one that says "nighttime cough" that has no acetaminophen in it. Losing your liver function = FTL

A spoon-full of whiskey helps the medicine go down
