Me and my girlfriend took photographs of an ant similar to this when we were walking on the Greenway.

The craziest ones I've ever seen were a federally-protected species at Ft. Lewis, Washington (above Seattle). They construct huge hills that can range from a few inches tall to several feet (I came across a couple that were easily as tall as me).

I went to some website a few years back that showed all the bigfoot sightings that happened in NC and broke it down by countys. Rowan county alone had like 20 or so. The state had in the hundreds.
