1. you find a good deal and buy something you don't have an occasion to wear it to...yet2. you have clothes with tags still on them but nothing appropriate for the current event3. you have a ton of clothes but "nothing to wear" because you've either bought cheap crap that is now shabby looking, can't ever get rid of clothes and thus have to cut through a lot of the "clutter" in the closet to find what you actually want to wear or you have a few nice pieces but nothing you can work into wardrobe or as a closet "piece" that is versatile, hence you're always confused when you get dressedall the things listed in 3 can happen at once as wellits pretty simple really

i'm just making stuff up i wear the same pair of pants for 3-4 days (sometimes more if they stay clean, sometimes less if they get dirty), but since i wear a different shirt every day and have enough for 2 weeks before repeating (between t-shirts, polos, and button-up shirts), i thought 1:3 was a good guess

I think I have 20-25 pairs of jeans and 50-60 shirts and well over 100 boxers I can go 2-3 months without doing laundry. None of this was purchased by me, so the moral of this story is to train her to shop for you
