i believe there was a ranking of "most intolerant of lgbt" schools and ncsu was up there.

That was some time ago.

I believe it was the Campus Climate Index/Campus Pride that gave us that ranking before, and now they actually give us 4 out 5 of stars now (only 19 schools did better) so we've done a complete 180 there. They even put us on their Honor Roll.

The only other big ranker in that regard is The Princeton Review and we aren't in their top 20 worst either.
