I love when people use my name like its an insult.Like I get offended at being properly addressed.

Its stuffing if it was cooked inside the turkey, dressing if it was NOT cooked inside the turkey.Never heard it called filling... Twinkies or pastries have filling, turkeys do not.
11/23/2010 6:12:54 PM
Traditionally this dish was what was cooked inside the turkey, i.e. "stuffed" inside or used to "fill" the turkey. How the fuck does "dressing" make any sense?^ filling is a very regional term, mostly used in the northeast[Edited on November 23, 2010 at 6:13 PM. Reason : a]
11/23/2010 6:13:10 PM

i've never heard it referred to as filling either. it's dressing when it's made outside the turkey and meant to dress up the bird/give it a MUCH better flavor when eaten together and stuffing when it's made inside the bird. i don't know how to make this any simpler, but dressing is the only way to go.
