To compound nerdhood with geekiness, some friends and I used ICQ's multiple chat window feature to play long distance Dungeons and Dragons. Battle positions had to be finessed a bit, but it worked out fairly well for three or four adolescents posing as middle-aged academics and professionals.

PS I can't recall the #, but I think I just missed out on five digits, e.g. 101xxx or something like that.
