It wasn't the blond hair that got the Catholic Church to recognize this place in Wisconsin.

I also don't think this is the first time the Virgin Mary has been described with blonde hair.

I also didn't see in the article where it said the Church is officially making the Virgin Mary a blonde from here on out.
