Why is this happening to me? I lost my voice and am severely stuffed up. Otherwise, I feel fine. I think I had a minor fever earlier today, too. Why am I stuffing my face with everything sweet that is reachable? I searched but couldn't find a good answer.

Sugar gives you a burst of serotonin and makes you feel better. It's a quick but short-lived happy feeling. Maybe you're just trying to compensate for your misery.

Maybe it's your comfort food of choice.Just go get a bunch of sugar free mints and keep them on you. Satisfy the craving without killing yourself.
