Did the BF get him from a reputable breeder? Goldren Retrievers from non-reputable breeders can suffer from genetic related health issues as they get older. One being hip dysplasia, which is something that needs to be checked on.

My parents have a Golden Retriever that is 13+ years old now. He has cancer and cataracts, along with arthritis. This will probably be his last year as the cancer is progressing. And the arthritis issues he has is exacerbated by the fact that my parents have all hardwood floors downstairs where the dog is (which I imagine healthy dogs would struggle on, throw in arthritis, and he does not do well on it).

apparently the cool name is "Tucker"

we named our dog this (my parents) like 4 years ago, now i know 3 other dogs named tucker. he also had weird eyes for about a year, then they seemed to work themselves out.

It's instagram on my phone, let it be known that kiwi is the tww user that takes the weird ass photos unliked by one Ronny. S'OK.

And her eyes are weird cause she had entropion which is a condition that causes the eyelids to curl into the eye causing irritation with the eye lashes on the cornea. She had surgery and those black lines are stitches which come out thursday.

She's gonna get a full check up on thursday and her 12wk shots if they let us do them a day early.

She is SO smart! She's getting the leash so well. She has had two accidents, one when I first got home and was crying and then one overnight in her kennel. But she's getting the idea of going outside! She loves people and whimpers if she can't see us (especially the bf), she will rest between our feet sprawled out on the cool hardwood floor. and she's super playful.

I feel like a bragging momma!

I've been testing Savannah on my tongue and I think it's the winner! I'll be taking some good pics when her stitches come out. Poor thing.
