I think some pieces of music are even better than this one but they have no lyrics so IMO they aren't "songs":"Must Be Dreaming" from Frou Frou - Details (2002): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uryUCVhjtr4

As an unrepentant GBV fan, I can't fault this (though I might have gone with Game of Pricks.) Care of Cell 44 is another good choice. However Bob himself (quite drunkenly) said Baba O'Riley is "the fucking best song in the fucking world and anyone who disagrees fuck you" when they played it to end their show at Cat's Cradle in '02 or '03 (don't remember.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWf2wzQDmaU

The best song of all-time can't possibly be a ripoff of better songs written 20 years earlier by ACTUAL brits.
