Demonoid is one of my favorites. You can try it out for a bit, but after a while you will need to get an account (which a current user has to give you an invitation code). If you like it, send me a PM and I'll get you one.

3/12/2011 9:42:30 PM
we're still stealing music? At least get a Rhapsody pass or Zune pass...
3/12/2011 10:26:08 PM
I love when people who listen to top 40 shit complaining about people stealing music. I will steal all the damn music i want, because i go to like 2-4 shows every single week (local or big bands) and almost always leave with some merch. Get the fuck out of here.I'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message./]
3/12/2011 10:33:06 PM
I don't listen to top 40... I normally download 2-3 artists I've never heard of per week. This week was lots of classical, we'll see how next goes.

3/12/2011 10:48:44 PM
The only thing i can't find on what.cd is local shit and a solo album by one guy that pressed like 200 copies and i'm sure no one bought, and i listen to have a lot of obscure shit music.I'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message.

^That's a fair justification. Usually, buying merch and attending shows is a more effective way of directly supporting an artist financially. Not trying to guilt-trip people into going to shows, simply stating that that's just the way it is. More of that money goes directly into an artist or band's pocket than when you buy a CD at a retail place (even an independent store like Schoolkids).[Edited on March 13, 2011 at 3:23 PM. Reason : .]
3/13/2011 3:23:07 PM
oh shit billytalent's back
3/13/2011 3:23:26 PM
hahaonce and for all, i am not billytalent
3/13/2011 3:24:36 PM
^^ not only that but you end up supporting venues which is arguably even more important than supporting bandsI'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message.
3/13/2011 3:25:50 PM
that still doesn't pay for the fucking album that you take :-\I do it too, but I'm not trying to justify it.
3/13/2011 3:27:16 PM
^^ Right, but if you get into that, someone could counter by saying supporting local independent record stores is just as important as supporting local venues. I agree with you, though.[Edited on March 13, 2011 at 3:27 PM. Reason : .]
