I had to look up the pearl cake. It sounds tres tasty if it's the same as Vosges chocolate bar by that name.http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Black-Pearl-Layer-Cake-231449

I like Tiramisu.

i vote tiramisubut honestly i'm not really a cake person at all. like if both were sitting in front of me, i'd probably eat neither. i always have to force myself to eat cake when it is like a birthday or someone baked me one or whatever. i'd rather have pie haha[Edited on March 13, 2011 at 4:37 PM. To me tiramisu is kind of its own category and not cake. I make a bangin' berry tiramisu in the spring that has fresh berries layered between the lady fingers and mascarpone and uses raspberry liquor instead of espresso to soak the lady fingers.

Personally I feel like tiramisu is karma for pearl cake.

I haven't had pearl cake but it sounds interesting. I got a truffle once that was wasabi, sesame, ginger and maybe something else flavored. It was OK.
