you might win in speeding tickets and infidelity but its a little presumptous to assume that you are the most traveled.

Apparently if you traveled over an ocean it no longer calculates directions via swimming
4/15/2011 4:34:00 PM
im sure it does if you type in directions from haiti to florida

Liability issues ever since that a-hole tried for the third time to cross the Atlantic in a rowboat probably. I want a taxpayer refund. He'd do more service feeding our fish that were poisoned by BP.

If we're counting miles traveled for work, I'm pretty sure I'd be a strong contender, unless there's a fucking astronaut on here, or I guess an airline pilot, maybe, depending upon his routes.)(I've been in 9 countries on 4 continents in the last year, plus at least 4 more in the last 5. Might be going to Europe again next week. In the last 5 years, I've driven across the U.S twice, gone skiing out west a few times, flown across the country (commercially) a few times for work, driven to GA or FL who knows how many times to pick up my daughter, driven 45 miles per day for work commute plus another 10-15 most nights for the gym, spent pretty close to 1000 hours in jets going 7-8+ miles per minute, spent a week on an aircraft carrier going prob 30 mph around the clock,.)Doing rough math, that's something over 500,000 miles, plus the distances traveled to those 13 (+?) countries.[Edited on April 15, 2011 at 4:38 PM. I've traveled around the sun 4 times. That's like 100,000 miles right off the bat.
4/15/2011 5:13:56 PM
makes me wondersun is 93 million miles away, 2 x 93million x pi = 584 millionish mile orbit x 4 = 2.34 billion miles in 4 years lolif you count earth rotation miles per day, then about 25,000 mile earth circumference makes it like 58 trillion? (of course only if you live at the equator)dont care to go much further w/ it]

i put myself in the top 10 - top 5 if you go back 6 years - anyone who travels regularly for work will easily go higher56k in the air in 1 year barely gets you gold status on delta - i've done more than that in the air since october of last year
4/15/2011 8:56:18 PM
Haven't been working for the airlines for all four years, but if I had, I'd probably be a contender to the Duke's numbers. My commute to work (roughly twice a week) between August and December of last year was 1245 NM, straight line distance, alone. And that's significantly less than the flying I did between the commutes.
4/15/2011 9:30:03 PM
Yeah, that outpaces me. I've just been racking up a lot of mileage for longer.
4/15/2011 9:36:18 PM
since 2005 i'm at about 650k in the air with just delta and american but about half of that was 2005-2007
