my frustrations with FedEx are well documented, except for the threads being purged, meaning they are not documented at all ... i think i made an anti-fedex facebook group a long time ago that might still be around

Packages are like dreams and childrenPeople only care about their own
6/28/2011 3:50:21 PM
side note, anyone know how long packages typically take to get out of anchorage? seems like ~3 days is a long time to be in transit.
6/28/2011 3:50:59 PM
I'm confused why this is upsetting. It shipped from China. I had a package ship from Cali and it took 3 days. Yours shipped from China and it takes six. Seems fine to me.
6/28/2011 3:53:45 PM
I'm sure no one cares about your package

maybe it's a box of crab cakes
6/28/2011 3:58:10 PM
it's unsat because it's been in alaska for 3 and hasn't finished moving apparently. it's unsat because apparently some dude hasn't slept in 3 days and has been driving around with my laptop
6/28/2011 4:03:00 PM
Actually I don't think they update it until it's at the local office ready to be delivered to your residence. That might be why.
6/28/2011 4:08:40 PM
The package would definitely stop somewhere on the way to SC from AK.[Edited on June 28, 2011 at 4:10 PM. Reason : it should update when it's sorted through another hub]
6/28/2011 4:09:57 PM
Yeah, but I don't it actually updates the location online when it does.
6/28/2011 4:10:50 PM
last week FEDEX lost a sealed bid our company sent to Maryland for a 1/2 million dollar government project. How ya like them apples
6/28/2011 4:13:21 PM
they updated it every stop for every other time i've had a package through fedex (including one last week)
6/28/2011 4:15:48 PM
^^^I may be speaking out of my ass, but I think it updates when the truck is actually dispatched.
6/28/2011 4:17:47 PM
I think what happens is they have a team of monkeys that randomly smack the keyboard to update the status of the package.
6/28/2011 4:19:35 PM
I think you may be correct, actually.[Edited on June 28, 2011 at 4:20 PM. Reason : ]
6/28/2011 4:20:34 PM
i think UPS's updates everytime the package is scanned (which is everytime it changes hands/facilities)
6/28/2011 4:20:54 PM
Be sure not to lick your laptop, it's probably covered in lead paint.
6/28/2011 4:23:00 PM
probably, but i'll have to lick it just to make sure.
6/28/2011 4:29:06 PM
lol goose creek
6/28/2011 9:23:33 PM
I will never ship fedex as long as they sponsor this clown[Edited on June 28, 2011 at 9:35 PM. Reason : .]
6/28/2011 9:35:00 PM
Its going to Memphis
6/29/2011 2:13:03 AM
That's actually pretty good. I've had packages shipped from the states that zigzaged the entire country for more than a week.
6/29/2011 8:17:30 AM
i think i'm probably the only person that hasn't had trouble with fedex and UPS services...at least, those services that are just their own (smartpost doesn't count)
6/29/2011 8:22:08 AM
finally in goose creek now just to wait on slingblade's friend to bring it to base for me
6/30/2011 4:33:20 PM
just went and faxed 4 pages "long distance" (didn't know that concept still existed)$7 ...I should have ran out of the store, the fax was sent before I paid[Edited on November 18, 2011 at 5:49 PM. Reason : ]

The UPS tracker is legit. But the fedex and usps trackers are like dominostheyre just on a timer to placate the users.-
11/18/2011 6:32:28 PM
^^I think per now retired master chief coles, I'm a toddler nuke since i graduated a-school? idk, been like 5 months since I got that speech.

Incorrect Address means that the fucking Saturday delivery driver doesn't realize that every other house on the street is set back from the road? Pretty sure they looked for 2 seconds and just peaced out for NYE. Got a voicemail asking for "directions". It's a damn residential development not some off-the-beaten-path farm.2pm: "Well in the event that the driver decides not to reattempt can I just pick it up at the office? Sorry sir they're closing at 3pm for the holiday."
12/31/2011 3:43:43 PM
dude, you are bitching about it being late?whatever, try UPS they will lose/smash your package and argue with you about for 30 minutes.... FedEx is way more reliable and at least will eventually deliver the goods. Also Alaska is a pretty fucking remote place, just be glad you can get a package delivered from across the world in 6 daysalso, this is the holiday season, they are undergoing a lot of lost package claims with an exceptionally high volume of packages. UPS has lost and smashed 2 of my packages in the last 8 months[Edited on December 31, 2011 at 4:10 PM. Reason : .]
