They're right in the front doorway. So far they haven't flown around yet, but they look like they're about ready to, and I don't want to piss them off without killing them.

Its just wasps dude (or at least that's what it looks like). I used to take out nests like that with my super soaker. Just make sure you pump it at least 20 times. Don't wanna run out of pressure before you get the suckers down on the ground.
7/1/2011 8:49:25 PM
just reach up there, grab it, and crush it

are they bothering you? if not, just leave them. you will most likely have to get rid of the nest by spraying it and knocking it down. i know it sounds dumb but do it at night, spray it, leave it for however long the spray you got says to leave it and then you can knock it down. dont fling urself around violently while doing any of this either. back off man, i'm an entomologist!
7/1/2011 9:06:53 PM
There can't be more than 3 or 4 mothers in that nest. I think you are overestimating it. Just spray them with any bug killer and close the door real quick then come back an hour later to knock it down. Make sure you knock it down or more mothers will come and salvage it later.
7/1/2011 9:07:01 PM
Burn it. Don't give a trailer park queen bee the opportunity to make the floor her home.
7/1/2011 9:38:29 PM
they are not bees so its not a colony. Just a few mothers looking for some welfare.
7/2/2011 4:22:07 AM
Whatever you decide to do, just make sure it involves a lot of bitch noises and dramatic body movements as you deal with the nest and/or the prospect of wasps flying at you
