Just wondering if anyone knew of any places near campus that would sell magic the gathering singles? Its a shitty day outside, so its time to nerd it up. The only place I've found that sells more than just packs is All Fun and Games, but the site says they close early today. Thanks.

7/24/2011 4:39:35 PM

7/24/2011 4:41:12 PM

7/24/2011 4:44:45 PM

Amazing tales used to be pretty cool. But shit got closed down. But as for mtg, it's better to just not. SHIT COSTS TO MUCH MONEY.

you know, I think the owner of Foundation's Edge told me that at one pointFoundation's Edge is by Wachovia on Hillsborough St.It's a cool little shop.

rather deal with the ongoing headaches of being in the middle of that construction area (with the possibility their building getting deep-sixed anyways), they just decided to consolidate
7/24/2011 5:20:58 PM
Magic the Gathering you say?
7/24/2011 5:21:03 PM
Not near campus, but there's a nerd shop off Walnut called The Gamer's Armory. Could call them I suppose.
7/24/2011 5:23:09 PM
I had a dream last night that I was buying Revised edition packs at Borders for 40% off. The only good thing about revised was the dual lands which when I first played was not a cool card like a powerful creature, little did I know at the time the value they would later fetch, I still do have I think five or six different sets of four dual lands at my parents house.
7/24/2011 5:25:58 PM
there's a hobby shop kinda off glenwood that had a poster calling for people wanting to play tabletop games...don't remember the name of the place, though.
7/24/2011 5:46:23 PM
there's been like eleven hundred revisions since I played back in middle school, the cards don't even look remotely the same now
7/24/2011 5:56:32 PM
Try Game Theory... it's a bit away from campus, but a friend of mine who was an official judge for tournaments used to work there, and I know they've had pre-release events.

Gamer's Armory in Cary is great for nerding out in but I don't think they sell singles.
7/24/2011 6:11:16 PM
there is one on the back side of the shopping center at duraleigh and edwards mill
7/24/2011 6:49:46 PM
