I tried FRAPS but it sucks

trying Camstudio now

anything else worth a shot?

Everyone I know uses FRAPS. Maybe you're doing it wrong.

Well I installed it, then go to my program and hit F9 to start recording. It shows the FPS while I move the 3D model and shit, then I hit F9 to stop recording.

When I go to the movies folder, I open the movie it made. Windows media player says "something else is using this" and then the file disappears.

Hmm, can you open it with a program other than wmp?

There's software that does this that's part of Microsoft's Expression Studio.

camtasia I've heard is ok

I downloaded it but one screencap video I tried ended up being way too large in size
