Don't skip out on the State Fair in October. I brought my friend from Seattle a couple years ago and he said it was the most amazing thing he's ever seen. He started taking pictures of all the mullets he could see on his phone
8/25/2011 3:07:53 PM
State fair is a MUST. Also more specifics. do you like bars, dive bars, clubs etc. what are your hobbies. So we can pt. you in the right direction.
8/25/2011 3:09:06 PM
8/25/2011 3:10:40 PM
definitely not a club girl unless its gonna be one of those nights... mostly sports bars and dive bars. i live near the goat so i frequent there on the weekends, but i would like to find an alternative.
8/25/2011 3:10:54 PM
I like Mitch's and used to drink there a lot. Now I go to Mac's since it's closer to where I live (Cary).
8/25/2011 3:12:02 PM
If you were into the outdoorsy stuff in Seattle (which pretty much every friend I have in Seattle is) then be sure to check out Umstead, the greenway, and all of the state parks west of here.
8/25/2011 3:15:27 PM
Ibt turns into a hipster vs mainstream thread
8/25/2011 3:16:30 PM
8/25/2011 3:54:07 PM
Hey now, if you live close to the Goat and don't know any better, you can't really fault her
8/25/2011 3:54:52 PM
if you want a chill place in your area to hang out and drink then I would say bada or ruckus in mission valley, both are a step up from the goat with less homeless people and prostitutes
8/25/2011 3:55:25 PM
i don't know any better!! i googled the closest bar to my house and got the goat. i went to ruckus once, but it was right before closing so i wasn't there very long
