^ seriously? i only spent 60 seconds looking at the site, but it looks like you're just cutting down your dog's activity by limiting their breathing. fuck that
9/25/2011 5:17:54 PM
That is seriously ignorant. It's called Deep Touch Pressure and has a calming effect, it's not crushing air out of it's lungs. Educate yourself, you twat.http://www.grandin.com/inc/squeeze.html

^^^^ Aw sorry guy, I thought it would be nice, concise, and simple enough for you since you seem to have trouble with reading comprehension. I guess you missed all those cited references. This is a more thorough article if you would like to read more : http://www.liebertonline.com/doi/abs/10.1089/cap.1992.2.63Haha I didn't have to read it on the internet, I was edumacated by that fancy institution of ours and continue to do so at the Vet school. I had the pleasure of meeting that wonderful lady, but who the fuck cares who she is, right?[Edited on September 25, 2011 at 11:17 PM. Reason : .]

A few people I know have gotten thundershirts for their dogs and it has worked miracles. Most of the dogs were freaked out by fireworks and thunderstorms and it just calmed them down! I think its better than the alternative which is drugging up your dog.

^^ cuntrag, just because my dog barks at a doorbell doesn't mean she's autistic, and should be slowly choked to death. looking forward to fading your future wisdoms
9/25/2011 11:44:50 PM
Oh that is interesting
9/26/2011 2:41:37 PM
Anything sharp or with a lot of bass any my dog will GTFO with a quickness.
9/26/2011 2:54:03 PM
Can't "fade" future wisdom if you can't even read so we are at a standstill my friend.Since you have missed the point entirely (and 3 times is my limit to argue with raging ignorance) there's nothing to even discuss, lol.CARRY ON!
9/26/2011 3:07:23 PM
My dog barks whenever there's a doorbell, door knock, or another dog parking on TV. Picked that shit up while staying at my mother-in-law's while we were on vacation
9/26/2011 3:22:36 PM
^my dog does this too. also if there's any sort of screech on tv that can remotely sound like a screaming cat, she freaks out too (my outdoor cat fights a lot). the dog has murdered the window sill on the sidelight at the front door trying to kill the ups man too. ugh. i think i'm going to put a sign on the door that says NO KNOCKING.
9/26/2011 3:52:24 PM
there's a douchebag that walks his dog around my neighborhood, offleash, and lets his golden wander around in everyone's yards at willand has come up to my door on a few occasions (it's like, 90% glass wood frame, glass down to a little higher than ankle high on me), and pawed at my door and fucked with my dogs that are inside. my door get the shit clawed out of it because of this, on the inside and on the outside from his golden.i have yelled at this motherfucker several times, and apparently it's my fault i can't control my dogs inside.one day im going to follow him home to get his address and lodge a formal complaint to the hoa.asshole.
9/26/2011 4:11:31 PM
I have often wondered.... WHAT FREAKS THE DOGS OUT!
9/26/2011 7:20:46 PM
i occasionally reach under the coffee table and make knocking noises.or fart noises with my hands.or stomp on the stairs.i feel like my dogs' clueless reactions are hilarious.

9/26/2011 7:57:24 PM
