So I was coming back home from a small local party where I drank a single 16oz Keystones (only beer at the house) I decide to leave and I'm coming up to the on ramp and I go one too early so I stop and look back to make sure everyone was not in my lane and a damn cop pulls me over. I tell him yes I am a chronic patient and he like listen you aren't driving this car home. So I had to call two friends to take me and my car.FUCK THE POLICE

10/14/2011 1:30:03 AM
Today, we are all in pain because we were foolish enough to actually click this thread
I have zero traffic tickets or warnings, I have never been pulled except in my Black Firebird. They always thought I was someone else.
10/14/2011 1:33:41 AM
just be glad he didn't make you go get a blood test.
10/14/2011 1:34:58 AM
So you can't even get pulled over by a cop without telling him your fucking life story.
10/14/2011 1:35:23 AM
haha
10/14/2011 1:35:33 AM
fuck the police
10/14/2011 2:03:14 AM
So let me get this straight, instead of potentially arresting you or making you go down town for a BAC test, he allows you to call someone to drive you home instead....and you are pissed?
10/14/2011 2:32:36 AM
I'm pissed. He should have been locked up.
10/14/2011 2:33:27 AM
I would tell my "getting pulled over" story as well, but I know people don't give a shit.
10/14/2011 3:06:32 AM

10/14/2011 6:44:16 AM
Was the dog dead before or after the cop showed up?
10/14/2011 7:17:12 AM
Were you listening to Led Zeppelin at the time?
10/14/2011 7:32:47 AM

10/14/2011 1:37:55 PM
10/14/2011 1:44:47 PM
Yeah, but you mixed your meds with alcohol, correct? He could have given you a field sobriety test and, like GREEN JAY pointed out, hassled you with a blood test.Since he pulled you to begin with, it is really tough for him to put you back on the road, knowing that you mixed narcotics and alcohol. There's no way for him to know how much you've taken, how high your tolerance is, when it could take effect, etc... He did the responsible/reasonable thing, in my opinion.I'm actually convinced that some of this crappy old people driving is from prescriptions. They're all, "I'm senile and confused..." and I think some of them are just high.Recently, I watched a middle-aged woman stand in the rain with her hands out, talking like a child: "It's raining. I'm in the rain... Look at me...it's raining." And her husband and kids (I assume) were standing under a shelter, looking at her like, WTF, Mom?!?![Edited on October 14, 2011 at 1:47 PM. Reason : ]

Oh I agree the cop did the right thing, RPD are way bigger ass holes than where I live. I just hate cops in general.
10/14/2011 5:17:53 PM
And cops hate crazy people.
10/14/2011 5:29:21 PM
chronic patient lol
10/14/2011 5:30:31 PM
All I did was stop my car and let the others go past, one just happen to be a cop.[Edited on October 14, 2011 at 5:55 PM. Reason : _]
10/14/2011 5:31:03 PM
Are you the dumb ass that backs down an on ramp if it is the wrong one?
10/14/2011 6:51:15 PM
Yes officer I have opiates and alcohol in my system. No blood test and I'm free to go with my friends? FUCK YOU!
10/14/2011 7:47:44 PM
The only other option was to say I was on medicine that my doctor writes me scripts for. However the same information would have eventually came out and 1 beer cleared all I had taken that night honestly (plus they would have to take me to the station for the blood test, he just thought I was a little slow on the finger test). I offered up for the BAC test before he even brought up drinking anything. There was something in the car I did not want getting found so I just went the honest route and told him everything I had taken.
10/14/2011 8:17:46 PM
Dude I have no opinion on you one way or the other but why the hell do you bring your CHRONIC PAIN up in every single thread
10/14/2011 8:36:36 PM
So this cop pulls me over, because I'm unable to properly drive my car. And instead of giving me a ticket or taking me to jail, he gives me a warning and makes my friends come pick me up. What a douche.
10/14/2011 11:54:58 PM
10/14/2011 11:57:23 PM
The amazing part is he has friends that picked him up.
10/15/2011 12:15:35 AM
shit I blew a .350 one night and I was straight to go.
10/15/2011 12:19:39 AM
They are confusing you with, .
10/15/2011 12:23:46 AM
Just because you have a prescription to get fucked up on pain meds does not give you license to drive while under the influence.
10/15/2011 12:12:20 PM
then when the fuck is a chronic pain patient supposed to drive?
10/15/2011 11:26:21 PM
I dont know, but not when you're impaired by opiates
10/15/2011 11:42:29 PM
so never? sounds awesome!!!
10/15/2011 11:44:08 PM
Yes. If you are always on opiates, then you should never drive. It's like saying, "When is an alcohol supposed to drive? Never! What an outrage!"
10/15/2011 11:49:28 PM
Or "when is a blind man supposed to drive?"Well dude, it's terrible that you're blind and I'm really sorry, but, uhh, you can't drive like that, fuckhead."
10/15/2011 11:54:16 PM
You don't get Dr. prescribed Alcohol and I've been driving on opiates for 3 years (at much higher doses). I just stopped quickly and it was a Wednesday night. If it had been a Friday, he wouldn't have even noticed me.
