Has this ever happened to you? If so, what were you doing at the time, what time was it, and what did the Fire Marshall catch you doing when he "keyed" in?Feel free to add any violations he found after he keyed in.

I worked for a church - WE DO WHAT WE WANT. There are no fire violations in worship spaces

It's all fun and games until somebody burns a witch.

Who knows what type of violation he would write if he keyed in on that happening.

^^^ Really? My church built a new facility and wanted to make a youth room out of the spacious upstairs, but the government said unless the upstairs was sprinkled you could only use it for storage. We planned on using a smaller room for youth then moving upstairs later on the down low, but they never ended up moving up there and are still in that tiny room.[Edited on November 1, 2011 at 11:56 PM. You still have to follow building codes, but they cannot cite you for too many people or electrical hazards or stuff like that. At least not in the worship space. If you have a daycare or class type area its not the same.

Only time I've been "keyed in" on was Sophomore year. I'm a super deep sleeper so I didn't wake up to the knocks, but then I woke up in bed to him mucking about my room. I pulled up my covers realizing I was pretty much laid bare in my underwear, and waited for him to leave, which was about two minutes because their searches are never really that thorough anyway.
