days ago we had an issue here in north raleigh where we'd get 3G for a second, search, go to E and stay on E. We finally were told after many calls it was a tower issue.tonight we noticed my wife's 3GS cycling every 3-30 secs. 3G, searching, no service, 3G, searching, no service. over and over. the at&t guy said it was prob a software issue because it was just her phone and not my 4. Well, 10 minutes after we hung up, guess what? my IPhone 4 started doing the same thing. we called back and after "convincing" the lady it was not BOTH phones she checked said 2 towers were having issues in our area. a hour before that tier 2 said everything was fine... anyway...so, i get in the car, drive from millbrook/glenwood to western and still cycling. i then turn around and drive past brier creek and manage to hold 3G for like 3 minutes. i'm tired of wasting gas so i go home.ANYONE experiencing this issue???? like i said days ago there was a similar issue but at least we had E.

Sounds like it's a tower issue. You're wasting a lot of time and energy on this. Do you not have Internet at your house that you can just log into a wireless router?
