serious question: how do you suggest advertisers "adapt to the times"?

they're going to start doing an ad bar across the bottom

I have no idea. I suppose: -unconventional methods of advertising like product placement in the program, or non-standard advertisement blocks-incentives for watching advertisements like, "enter in this code given during a commercial to win a discount for xxxx product"-actually giving the people what they want (shows without commercials) for a price. Much in the same way itunes gave people what they want (downloadable content that isn't necessarily the entire album) for a price. (yeah, I know that's not the only motivation for itunes). Or netflix.... shit, when netflix first came out, they came out at my "go legal" price. As in I could justify paying them that small price to not have to download, still get new movies, and have the movies be of quality.-Instead of the picture in picture on the Guide screen, run an inset with ads and commercialsPoint is, advertisers have relied on an audience unable to easily avoid commercials (besides leaving the room, sitting there and FF through advertisements, putting the TV on mute, changing channels) for all of this time. Now, it's not as easy to advertise to a captive audience, so they file lawsuits.]
