Looks like Google Doodle would rather celebrate the 79th anniversary of the first Drive-In Movie than the 68th anniversary of D-Day.

But yeah, movies are certainly better than men who fought & died for our freedoms.

more surprising to me is that they have no doodle for World IPv6 day. That's more in their wheelhouse than either the drive in movie thing or D-Day.

They've probably already celebrated D-Day with a unique drawing before. Maybe they're trying to avoid repeats so that they continue to have unique images?
