It's not on any of the sports channels I pay Comcast an extra 8 dollars a month for in Charleston SC, but luckily CSSHD is showing Howard vs Morehouse College so that more than makes up for it At least Comcast comes with ESPN 3 so I can watch online
9/8/2012 11:08:16 AM
ok... are either of those channels on TWC in Raleigh?? because i scrolled through all of my HD and non-HD channels, and none of them have the NC State game.and espn3 isn't TV. i don't want to watch a fucking game on my computer.[Edited on September 8, 2012 at 11:10 AM. Reason : ]
9/8/2012 11:09:29 AM
it's on espn gameplan, but you have to pay for it
9/8/2012 11:10:51 AM
you might have to
9/8/2012 11:12:43 AM
is there a law that keeps FiOS out of TWC areas?because I can't imagine anyone would choose the latter over the former
9/8/2012 11:14:13 AM
fucking ridiculous.
9/8/2012 11:20:48 AM
watch espn app AirPlay to apple tv ftw
9/8/2012 11:32:52 AM
does DirecTV have a tablet sports thing? I downloaded WatchESPN by I can only choose between Bright House, Comcast, Midcontinent, TWC, and Verizon Broadband/FIOS
9/8/2012 11:36:47 AM
Nothing is on Fox. I don't see why the game can't be aired on there but NC State is not UNC.

^ for me, the sound is about 20 seconds behind the video
9/8/2012 12:07:57 PM
because the TWC search feature is a pain in the ass to use?and they don't make HDMI cables long enough to stretch from the office to the living room [Edited on September 8, 2012 at 5:17 PM. Reason : ]

its cool that Smath made a thread proposing a problem and when people tried to propose solutions, he basically told them to fuck off. good way to get help in the future.
9/10/2012 9:12:23 PM
people our age bitching about not being able to watch games on tv baffles me, how quickly we forget having to listen to half our games on the radio 10-15 years ago

ok... you folks are right. i should be happy to watch a game on my computer monitor while my much larger tv (and the thousands I spend on cable every year) sit there useless. or i should have magiced a 100 foot hdmi cord out of my ass an hour before gametime.my bad guys.(but for real, thanks for the suggestions... not irritated at any of the suggestions or suggestors... just pissed at the situation)[Edited on September 11, 2012 at 8:34 AM. around 100 bucks a month *12that's pretty standard
9/11/2012 11:06:08 AM
(probably a package that includes internet, so not $1000+ on cable-only)
9/11/2012 11:32:09 AM
omg i will analyze the insignificant details of your rant
9/11/2012 7:11:42 PM
i'm still confused as to why a 100' HDMI cable was neededcan't you just move your laptop to within 3' of your living room TV?
9/11/2012 7:15:22 PM
I don't have a laptop.
9/12/2012 1:25:32 PM

9/12/2012 6:10:38 PM
k.
9/12/2012 6:14:04 PM
for real though, you don't have a laptop, or were you just joking?
9/12/2012 6:25:26 PM
for real, i don't have a laptop. (I have a work laptop but it doesn't have HDMI or anything due to age.)
9/12/2012 11:10:55 PM
get yourself a little notebook or something w/ hdmi and you'll be able to watch pretty much every NC State bball or fball game on your tv.
9/12/2012 11:29:51 PM
Alright so how about the Citadel game on DirecTV, I can't find anything
9/21/2012 1:43:59 PM
^yeah same here. I assume than means no My wife is on call at work tomorrow so I maybe on baby duty. Otherwise I'd be at the game.
9/21/2012 1:53:55 PM
This Smath74 dude has no laptop and doesn't realize that they make super long HDMI cables? Wow, I hope your wife is good with technology...[Edited on September 21, 2012 at 2:43 PM. Reason : sd]

^^sorry, some of us don't want wires running all over the house
9/21/2012 4:35:51 PM
Run the wires under the house if you have a crawl space or run them through the attic if you have one, do like the others suggested and get a cheap laptop and set it up on the TV. It's not complicated man.
9/21/2012 5:57:17 PM
Or just run one wire "all over the house" for 3 hours until the game is over
9/21/2012 6:33:48 PM
yes. you are right. i should have done those things in the < 1 hour before gametime after i discovered it wasn't on tv. yes i know there are workarounds. but my point is that a local game should be on damn tv so I wouldn't have to go through all of that bullshit just to watch it.
9/22/2012 8:38:15 AM
I have a laptop with HDMI now which knowing my luck, there will be no more espn3 games.
10/24/2012 10:31:15 PM
definitely will for basketball
10/24/2012 10:36:34 PM
there's not as many as you'd think. a lot more espn/espn2/espnu than last year.
10/24/2012 10:42:05 PM
^^^
11/2/2012 8:45:20 PM
not on TV in Greensboro, NC, and now I know why, lol
