I hope I'll quit soon, like within the next couple years. Like that'll happen. Gosh, what is wrong with me? Is it even appropriate? A few years ago I would have said no, but people spend so much time on other social media sites these days, so is TWW really any different?

My goal is to become the oldest living tubber. Eventually, I can prowl around here like a cougar.
12/16/2012 8:25:10 PM
^i thought you already do

More like a puma. Give me ten years and I'll be a cougar.

I made a deal with jackleg that I would troll the shit out of the millionth user. We are still around the 40,000 range of registered users, so I have a while to go.
12/16/2012 8:37:53 PM
I miss jackleg.

I'm quitting when neon takes over.

Some day. Some days I think that I'm never going to leave, but then I remember that I felt the same way about LiveJournal...

This might be the most intriguing question ever posted as a thread. I don't have an answer at the moment.
12/16/2012 9:31:40 PM
when I get a better offer.

I feel like even with the negatives, my life has been for the better as a TWW user. I have met people... none who I hang out with often, but people I enjoy saying hey to (or giving the nod to) when I see them out. I also have used each of the sub-forums to tap into the vast population and knowledge of the TWW userbase - this has been beneficial too many times to count. I hope that by using TWW I have at least in some way given a little bit to some of the users here, even if in a small/immeasurable way.I don't post here as much as I used to. I still read it a good amount when I have the time. I'm pretty much over the immature garbage and drama floating around here lately, and I try to steer clear of it. I don't see myself "quitting" as long as there are still a good amount of "old hats" around.
12/17/2012 5:28:34 PM
^well said. It's often nice to ask a question about something here even when I don't really "know" people vs asking complete strangers on some other site that might be more specifically suited for the question.

When my first kid comes or if I abandoned my one-man firm and got a job at a place that didn't allow t-dub...whichever comes first.
12/17/2012 6:01:20 PM
Depends. There are two very divergent roads in front of me right now. If I take the first one, then probably 'never'. If I take the second road, then when I turn 40.
12/17/2012 8:48:55 PM
As long as I can keep it at a reasonable level, no plans to leave anytime soon. "Reasonable level" to me means generally where I'm not looking at it at work so much it interferes with my job. I quit once for about 6 months, then came back, and I think that was a good thing.Though whenever I have children, I'll probably have to confine it to "after they've gone to bed" usage. I don't want them asking "Daddy, what's that?"
12/17/2012 8:58:02 PM
as long as I can. What is login? great people fun times.
