lol, nope. The kids in my high school were jackasses. They would have pissed off a teacher and gotten shot in the neck on like the third day of class.
12/18/2012 8:22:49 PM
where's the negative here?
12/18/2012 8:23:26 PM
everyone should carry guns. we are going about this all wrong.
12/18/2012 8:24:06 PM
I think only criminals and crazy people should have guns. Law abiding citizens should not be allowed to have guns.
12/18/2012 8:25:56 PM
One teacher in my high school obeyed the law by having sex with female students. Another obeyed the law when he was busted with an 8 ball.
12/18/2012 8:28:22 PM
Damn, I wish I grew up in Charlotte. Your HS sounds pretty badass
12/18/2012 8:30:45 PM
should we arm all teachers? nawbut if the principal/vice principal want to keep some guns locked up in their office in case things get dicey, i got no problem with that.[Edited on December 18, 2012 at 8:31 PM. Reason : .]
12/18/2012 8:30:48 PM
"principals should keep a gun locked in the office!"i never understood that. how much time the principal actually in the office? that wouldnt have saved the prinicpal at sandy hook.

12/18/2012 8:38:38 PM
yeah i don't trust teachers with guns anymore than i do students.
12/18/2012 8:48:44 PM
Well, I think we should look into ammunition sales and restrictions, instead of straicter gun laws. I mean its fine to protect our home, but you don't need 1000 rounds to do so.
12/18/2012 8:51:07 PM
^ you clearly haven't seen Red Dawn
12/18/2012 8:53:54 PM
i could go in my spare bedroom and manufacture 1000 rounds of .223 Remington before midnight.good luck!
12/18/2012 8:54:11 PM
i'm glad most of my teachers weren't packing. it probably would have been safer if a 10-year old me had a gun in class.
12/18/2012 8:55:51 PM
manufacture or reload? reloads always jam up my shit.
12/18/2012 8:56:47 PM
reload, just like a lot of the .223 folks are buying in stores these days. they call it "remanufactured" . i've never had a misfire or jam with one of my reloads. much more accurate than factory ammo.[Edited on December 18, 2012 at 9:00 PM. Reason : don't shoot some toothless ricky's reloads, dude]
12/18/2012 8:59:26 PM
Bulletproof vests should be part of school uniforms.
12/18/2012 8:59:35 PM
no such thing as a bulletproof vest
12/18/2012 9:00:34 PM
I have never fired a reloaded .223, but I buy reloaded .40 for shooting on the range with my pistol. I hardly ever get through a magazine without at least 1 jamBut then again, comparing a semi-auto pistol to a semi-auto rifle is apples to oranges.[Edited on December 18, 2012 at 9:03 PM. Reason : a]
12/18/2012 9:01:28 PM
don't buy those saran-wrapped trays of reloads at the gunshow, theni reload for two semi-auto pistols as well. .45 ACP for a 1911 and .380 Auto for an LCP. never had a jam or misfire with my reloads. factory ammo is a different story.[Edited on December 18, 2012 at 9:07 PM. Reason : fads]
12/18/2012 9:02:45 PM
^ lol, nah I usually get them from Dick's. Funny story though, I bought a bag of reloads from a guy at a gun show that was literally that......a bag. It was in a zip-lock. I probably don't even need to elaborate on how reliable those were.

Teacher/security gaurd
12/18/2012 9:14:15 PM
Did all ya'll school not have a resource officer? I grew up in the burbs on the good side of town. Went to a predominantly WASP public school and we had a police officer there every day. He had his own little office, semi-automatic weapon etc. Is this not common?
12/18/2012 9:35:30 PM
Yeah, we had a resource officer
12/18/2012 9:37:34 PM
I would not feel comfortable with our fat fuck SRO handling this situation
12/18/2012 11:23:12 PM
Teachers who have CCW permits/license should be allowed to carry on campus. I'd be okay with a strict semi-annual performance evaluation to make sure they stay on top of firearm proficiency should they choose to carry on campus.
12/18/2012 11:33:09 PM
lol, nope.
12/19/2012 6:40:27 AM
I wouldn't mind a gun being present. Maybe not known.
12/19/2012 7:46:31 AM
12/19/2012 8:20:32 AM
Wasn't the "everyone have a gun" thing already tried out in the wild west? From what I've heard it was "wild".

If only the first victim, Adam Lanza's mother, been a gun owner, she could have stopped this before it happened.

way to steal a comment that someone else made and not attribute it to them

If only locking your guns in a safe were a sure way to prevent a 20 year old who was intent on getting ahold of the guns inside.
12/19/2012 2:03:00 PM
If only we could find a cure for crazy
12/19/2012 2:05:34 PM
^^what? unless he knew the combination, he wouldn't get into a locked safe, no matter how determined he was. unless he had dynamite. but then he may have just used the dynamite at the school and wouldn't have needed the guns.[Edited on December 19, 2012 at 2:08 PM. Reason : ]

Teachers should carry condomsI'm Krallum and I approved this message.
12/19/2012 3:26:14 PM
.... simple way: 4.5" angle grinder & about (20) cut-off wheels. add a reciprocating saw and/or dremel and you'd be inside of that thing in abou 20minselaborate way: plasma cutter. - most gun safes nowadays are made from metal ranging from 12ga (0.1046") to 7ga (0.1875"). what's shown in the picture is teh folded sides of each wall sheet.[Edited on December 19, 2012 at 3:33 PM.
