Can anyone tell me why this area needs something as obsolete as a library and one named for a liberal politician as well? This is obviously a sweetheart deal for local unions or something. Who will help me contact our state governments about this problem?

No one has raised teh issue that this is probably a front to ship money to old liberal interests^obviously you dont understand economics. this is a government library. government doesnt create profit making jobs. it just eats money and sends it to liberal friends.wheres teh outrage?[Edited on January 29, 2013 at 10:37 AM. GROOPI, for one, think the library money should have been used to buy a larger collection of loud rockin rap songs. And a hydraulic platform at the 50 yard line where the team can come up and run a play to set the tone.[Edited on January 29, 2013 at 1:09 PM. Reason : ]

Rawr, instead of making my voice heard on this matter when it has an impact I'm going to wait until after they create a master plan incorporating a new library, after they begin fundraising, after they begin due diligence, after they RFQ for designers/engineers, after they hire them, after they advertise for a construction team, after they hire a construction team, after they break ground, after they advertise and hire staff, and after they open. Only then will I open my mouth and bitch about it because that's the most important time to keep spending in check.Because clearly the time before all of that took place would not be when we should question whether this project's costs are in line with our plans for the future.
