Police: Rocks thrown at vehicles on Durham FreewayFeb 1, 2013 4:54 p.m.Durham, N.C.—Police said Friday that Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in several recent incidents where rocks and bricks have been thrown at vehicles on the Durham Freeway.Two people have suffered minor injuries in these incidents, which occurred between the South Alston Avenue bridge and Briggs Avenue, police said. Items have been thrown from overpasses or bridges or from embankments beside the road.The incidents have usually occurred at night, and most of the vehicles have been in the northbound lanes, police said.Anyone with information is asked to call Durham police at 919-560-4415, extension 29311, or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.

i heard they were rock-15's, those are assualt rocks becuse they look like rocks used by the military in afghanistan.due to media hysteria it looks like the report was wrong. they used hand held rock-glocks. but we should still ban the rock-15s becuse they look scarry[Edited on February 2, 2013 at 10:33 AM.
