My wife is 100% coonass.

Gumbo and crawfish etouffee are staples in our house.

I went to her family reunion a few years ago... they had it down in Destin FL in the summer.

All these coonasses cooking up homemade meals, but were so cheap they'd buy frozen shrimp from Asia for their shrimp etouffee and bbq shrimp. I told my wife I'd pay for the shrimp next time and have them cook it.
