I've got one coming today. Haven't picked up any accessories or anything. I'm curious about the Cyberpunk 2077 port but probably won't buy it. Really looking forward to getting the ports of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

^Please let us know what you think. I’d like to hear some opinions from someone that isn’t associated with IGN and others like it.

I don’t play my Switch a lot but I do enjoy it. I just want to know if the $500 investment is going to be worth it for a casual Switch user.

It arrived! I set it up and transferred my stuff over from my Switch. I've only checked out a few minutes of the enhanced versions of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, but it's really nice to have smoother, higher frame rates in those games.

I have played several races in Mario Kart World, though. I played some hooked up to my TV with HDR using my old Switch Pro Controller, which was cool. I also played in handheld and in portable mode with the kickstand & Joy-Con grip. It all felt good.

I like the screen quite a bit, but I'm curious how good the 120 Hz support will be. I'm also curious to see how some of the Switch games that run at 720p or lower in portable mode will look on the screen. Hoping they aren't scaled up all fuzzy-looking.

The Ethernet port on the dock is pretty great to have.

I might pick up Cyberpunk just to see how it goes with the 40 fps performance mode, the Joy-Con mouse support, etc.

Nice.

I’m having to live vicariously through all the folks that got theirs early.

Of course I was late getting the original Switch also.

Is this thread about a sequel to the 1991 Rom-Com featuring Jimmy Smits and Ellen Barkin?

No it's about a new will smith song that's a follow-up to his 2005 top 10 hit "switch"

[Edited on June 19, 2025 at 2:29 PM. Reason : But maybe they are using the song in the movie???]

I got the Switch 2 Pro Controller today. The feel is very good, especially the thumbsticks. The back paddles are very nice to have. One thing to consider is that the triggers aren't analog. It seems a bit overpriced, but it is extremely comfortable to use.

I've also played a bit of Cyberpunk. It's a really interesting port! The dual grip controls are a little tricky to use, but I could see it being someone's preferred way to play. I like using the Joy-Con as a mouse a lot. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that it supports cross progression, so I can play the same saved game on my PS5 as my Switch 2.
