Actually, there really is no debate. It's just plain GOOD.Add a little bit of honey or syrup for some extra special goodness.

for the record, that sandwich looks nasty
11/16/2009 12:44:29 PM
hahaha yeah, i mean - PB&B sammiches are good, but it's kinda hard for them to look good

Way too much banana. Banana has a strong flavor, and too much banana in this type of sandwich masks the great taste of peanut butter and honey. One layer of banana slices is all that's needed.

Yes sir, I like it.
11/16/2009 12:50:26 PM
i had one once.. i think it also had marshmallow stuff on it though. too sweet fo me
11/16/2009 12:51:44 PM
I am not a big fan of bananas
11/16/2009 12:51:54 PM
^^the marshmallow fluff is what made it too sweet. plain banana and pb isn't nearly that sweet, which is why i suggested a bit of honey/syrup in the OP.
11/16/2009 12:52:45 PM
No marshmallow fluff definitely. Maybe a little honey. Good on wheat bread; I also like them open-faced on wasa crispbread (basically giant crispy crackers).

what about banana and mayo
11/16/2009 1:19:00 PM
That's good too but nothing beats a pb&b.
11/16/2009 1:19:49 PM
banana and mayo is my absolute favorite sandwich, hands down. a reuben on something other than rye bread is my second favorite
11/16/2009 1:20:05 PM
I used to hate a reuben on rye but love it on anything else. My taste buds have gone goofy lately and now I love it on rye... Weird.

duh...i forgot i made this thread back in May message_topic.aspx?topic=566047
