No matter how few and far between good shit may occur





We just opened up an account with this Chinamen named Hoon Chang.

So for the past few days, the 3 of us under 30 in the office have making as many Wu-Tang references as we can think of whenever we talk to him.

And since he barely speaks any english, he has no clue what we're saying, and all the older partners just give us the crook eye and mutter "goddamn kids".

Just today he came on the screen for video conference and Rick yells out "Hoon Chang is here forever...motherfuckers !" and our ensuing laughter delayed the proceedings by at least 5 minutes.

Maybe its one of those things where you had to be there...but I haven't laughed that hard in a weeks, maybe months.

A boss who absolutely fucking rocks is awesome.

Having three or four (being PT, technically, everyone is my boss...but I'm just thinking about the ones who rock on a regular basis. FFS, I showed one meatspin, and now he doesn't let a day go by without calling me out on it while laughing about it )

When I broke up with my bf, there was one day where it was REALLY tough, and I went to my boss, and was like, uh, just FYI, if you come out and i'm crying, this is why.

She was on the phone, and had her daughter in her office. She hung up the phone, and SHE got teary-eyed.

I could go on, and on, and on about my awesome bosses. I thought I left one job on just mediocre terms...until two weeks ago, when he emails me out of the blue asking if I'd like to work for him again. In a job that just so happens will look good on my resume , at a substantial pay raise above all my other jobs, and above when I left him before.

My only real perks at work are that nobody cares what time I show up/leave as long as my shit gets done.
