Why must my parents insist on keeping the house temp 14 degrees higher than what I keep at my apartment? I can't sleep like this.

I had this same problem... their room is the farthest from the A/C unit and therefore they have to keep it like 75 in my room to get it 70 in their room. I was freaking dying...

ewwwww 70? that is still higher than i keep my heat. and my dad keeps his house like an icebox too. i keep my condo at like 60 or 65. the heat rarely comes on - but it saves $$$$.
